Warman Walkout
We executed this project over three years, and it really stands as a testament to the concept that good things take time.
University Flagstone
With this project, we had the chance to test our design skills in the moment, as our client approached us while the house was still under construction in the spring. To say that we are pleased with how this yard turned out would be an understatement.
Silverwood Refresh
When we first stepped foot in this yard for the design consultation, the majority of the backyard was dominated by a slope that effectively bisected the space, creating a somewhat functional lawn area and a less functional lower area that was underutilized.
Applewood Escape
Our assignment here was simple: frame the house, keep it low maintenance, make it functional for mowing and moving around the property, and above all else, deliver a fire pit with no smoke.
Roman Repaved
We love designing for small spaces, and we knew we could turn this side yard into a cozy spot for our clients to enjoy.
Saskatchewan Crescent Terraces
For this project we teamed up with City Gardens to give this yard an updated look. Our planting plan will fill in as the years progress to really show off the mass block plantings of grasses, bright shrubs and evergreens.
Saskatchewan Crescent Refresh
Saskatchewan Crescent is known for its beautiful homes and lush landscapes. After wrapping up a custom renovation on their home, our clients asked us to revive the landscaping that had been home to the construction zone.
Rosewood Oasis
The challenge was formidable. How to make this space, which is surrounded by a park on two sides plus a busy roadway and sidewalk on one side, feel cosy and secluded. It will take time for the trees and shrubs to establish but as they do this space will cocoon itself into the secret garden we were aiming for.
Caswell Hill Vintage
We feel incredibly fortunate when clients trust us to transform their private outdoor spaces—places where memories with family and friends will blossom. These clients, originally from New York, wanted to infuse their yard with a classic New England charm through timeless brickwork. The design needed to balance functionality with atmosphere: a dining area for hosting, a cozy fire pit for gathering, and meandering pathways to encourage exploration—all while softening the property’s original linear layout. The talented Dillan of Brick by Brick YXE brought warmth to the space with Unilock’s Town Hall Pavers in Old Oak, while Travis from Lost River Timber expertly reshaped the terrain. The crowning touch? Brandon of Black Crow Carpentry crafted a stunning custom deck that seamlessly connects the home to this inviting new retreat.

Nutana Custom Steps
We love helping clients refresh their outdoor spaces, and this collaboration with City Gardens was no exception! Our design features mass plantings of grasses, shrubs, and evergreens that will mature beautifully over time. We started with nutrient-rich compost and mulch, then Chris Irrigation installed a precision automated system – because proper watering is key to a truly low-maintenance yard (those old fan sprinklers just can't compare!). Trust us, investing in smart irrigation makes all the difference for a landscape that thrives effortlessly.
Broadway Low Maintenance
It's always rewarding to refresh existing landscapes, and this collaboration with City Gardens was no exception! We revitalized the space with lush block plantings of grasses, vibrant shrubs, and evergreens that will mature beautifully over time. To ensure thriving growth, we enriched the soil with fresh compost and mulch, while Chris Irrigation installed a precise automated system—because nothing beats efficient, tailored watering for a truly low-maintenance yard. Trust us, investing in smart irrigation makes all the difference!
Succulent Summer
This project left me absolutely inspired! When our visionary client asked if we could create a living succulent wall, I knew we could make it happen—thanks to guidance from Laura Eubanks' stunning designs and Darrel from Driven Industries, who crafted the perfect custom frame. Samantha (now of Highbush Floral) nailed the installation (after some brilliant trial and error!), and now the thriving succulent wall winters indoors, eagerly awaiting its summer return. A true testament to collaboration, creativity, and bold ideas brought to life!
Manos Patio
It was an honor to collaborate with Manolis of Saskatoon's beloved Manos restaurant on their stunning patio garden. Their newly renovated space features deep, insulated raised beds—a clever solution for overwintering perennials in our climate. We planted hardy Catmint, Sedum, and Sempervivum alongside lush annuals like Mangaves and Swedish Ivy, while grape vines will soon climb the trellis, creating a vibrant oasis for diners to enjoy. A perfect blend of beauty and practicality for this iconic Saskatoon eatery!
Briarwood Curb Appeal
We love when clients reach out with the specific request to bring native plants into their yard to support the local insect population! We knew we wanted to build something close up to the front of the house and bring some height to a completely flat front yard.
Community Cemetery
This project holds deep meaning for us—when longtime clients asked us to landscape a section of their community cemetery, we approached it with heartfelt care. We selected mature B&B trees from Lakeshore Tree Farm (including Spring Snow Crabapples and Ming Cherries for their breathtaking blooms) and paired them with low-maintenance evergreens, ornamental grasses, and my beloved Catmint for summer-long color. Every plant—from the bird-friendly Baby Blue Spruce to the continuous-blooming Hazel Dean Roses—came from Nancy Martin at Dieter Martin Greenhouse, whose quality and wisdom I’ve trusted for years. This serene space will honor families for generations, and we can’t wait to see it bloom this spring.
Buena Vista Custom Concrete
Want a yard as distinctive as your home? This stunning Scandinavian-inspired infill—our third on the block!—proves simplicity shines. From Procrete’s custom concrete pads to Brick By Brick’s elegant brick pathways and Remnant Steel’s showstopping gates (with gorgeous shadow play!), every detail was tailored to the clients’ vision. Even the planting blends prairie natives (Tufted Hair Grass) with nostalgic touches like a fiery Korean Maple. Ready to transform your space with this level of intentional design? Let’s create something extraordinary.
Saskatchewan Crescent Alpine
