We love designing for small spaces, and we knew we could turn this side yard into a cozy spot for our clients to enjoy.
We mapped everything to scale and then started playing with their wish list: fire pit and seating, raised veggie beds, privacy from the alley, and privacy from the neighbours.
We managed to fit it all in and still leave enough flow for easy movement throughout the space.
Brick by Brick was able to quickly grade and pave the area for us. Lost River Timber built our privacy screen, which adds a much-needed vertical element to the space.
The planting is minimal but intentional, with cedars that will one day provide privacy from the back lane and help bolster the cozy vibes around the fire pit.
